This long review is for people like me who want details with known experience. We bought this blindly as an interim rug. Very inexpensive for the size and it is, (we measured) a true 7'8" x 10'4" size. The colors are Black, Olive-Sage green, maroon, muted Gold or Tan maybe and light Beige or off-white which blend well with our colors. It will pop on light colored floors, but be a little more subdued as in our case on darker floors. There is no grey as some suggest. I think the black area surrounding the medallion has a scroll design in the green referred to previously, and in certain light may be seen as a little grey to some thus the sage aspect. When the rug arrived, I realized, it was possibly the exact same kind of material and structured rug as one we've had for more than 20 years! I shouldn't admit that because well sounds gross, but it goes to the durability of the rug. It is in a pool/ game room that has kids, lots of people and 3 goldens that have walked, slept, trampled and spilled on it and it has held up fabulously! I keep saying it's time to get rid of it but it works for what it is. I don't know what the instructions are for how to clean it, but we just clean it with our floor and carpet cleaner. The only issue we've had really is our dogs have all had longish hair that has a tendency to imbed in the fibers, so it takes a bit to vacuum out. Ok, so as to the rumpling or curling. It is annoying. I don't remember how long it took to go away with the older one, so I'm hoping not long because this rug is full of ripples and curls, but we did lay it over an existing shag rug and that was just today as of this writing. The other one is on tile and lays flat now and has done that for so long, I know of no other way. This rug is so attractive, soft to the touch its not cushioned just a very slight pile and for the price; you really can't get any better. I'll try to include pics of old rug and this one. The first 3 pics are this rug, the last 2 is our 20 + old rug.
